SKADI SP-902 Features

The Austone SKADI SP-902 winter commercial vehicle (bus) tire model features a deep, reverse-symmetrical tread pattern. This design performs exceptionally well in snow and slush.

Several thousand tiny sipes are densely embedded in the massive tread blocks. They function similarly to studs, cutting into packed snow and ice with their sharp edges to improve traction on these slippery surfaces.

The tires are made from a flexible and wear-resistant rubber compound. Elastomers added to the rubber compound allow the tire to maintain its flexibility across a wide range of temperatures. As is well known, a flexible tire provides much better traction on the road and wears more evenly.
