Agilis X-Ice North
The Michelin Agilis X-Ice North radial model features an improved classically symmetrical tread pattern. This design was chosen to simultaneously improve load capacity, wear resistance and grip characteristics. The tread pattern is based on Durable Contact Patch technology. This has allowed the tyre to increase the contact area with the road, improving grip and wear resistance.
The tyres are based on a carcass reinforced with several layers of cord or breaker. This allows heavy loads to be carried even during heavy use. It also has a high resistance to impacts, which are often encountered in winter due to uncleared roads.
The robust frame is encased in a high-quality rubber alloy. The added elastomers simultaneously improve grip on both dry and wet asphalt and extend tyre life.
The massive, symmetrically spaced tread blocks are densely packed with StabiliGrip technology sipes. In tandem with steel studs, they cut into ice and packed snow, creating a steely grip on slippery surfaces.
