EfficientGrip Performance equipment

The Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance UHP, or High Performance Summer tyre, features an asymmetric tread pattern. This design combines excellent ride comfort, manoeuvrability and grip on both dry and wet asphalt.

A highly developed drainage or water channel system is created between the asymmetrically arranged tread blocks. This effectively drains excess water from the tyre's contact surface with the road, significantly reducing the risk of aquaplaning.

The tyre's rubber compound is formulated using GoodYear technology. The chemical elements added to it simultaneously dampen sound, improve wear resistance and grip on wet asphalt.
