The directional tread blocks incorporate several thousand 3D sipes, which improve traction on snow and ice and prevent uneven wear of the tread blocks during maneuvering.

A range of elastomers has been added to the tire’s rubber compound, enabling it to adapt to a wide temperature range without losing flexibility. A thermodynamic layer beneath the tread prevents the tire from overheating, thereby reducing fuel consumption.
