BluEarth-GT AE51 features

The Yokohama BluEarth-GT AE51 summer tyres feature a rather coarse asymmetric tread pattern. This design was chosen to improve the tyre's performance on gravel roads. In addition, the tread is designed in two layers, with the lower layer being much harder, improving stability and wear resistance. The upper ply is softer, improving grip on dry and wet asphalt.

Low risk of aquaplaning is ensured by asymmetrically positioned drainage channels. They quickly and efficiently drain water from the tyre's grip surface, while also improving grip on wet asphalt.
