Ice Razor tread characteristics

The Ice Razor tread is a directional tread to give the tyre better grip on wet and slippery road surfaces. The tread blocks are densely packed with thousands of sipes which, in tandem with the studs, literally cut into the ice surface, creating grip on slippery surfaces. Norrsken Ice Razor is an eco-friendly product, using carefully reconditioned premium tyre carcasses. The tread pattern is made from a high-quality rubber compound to which several elastomers are added to keep the tyre supple even in the coldest temperatures, and it features a range of elements that significantly improve grip on the slipperiest road surfaces.
