The tyre tread is designed in an asymmetric style, making for a quieter and more comfortable ride. The design features slight directional styling features that help the tyre perform better in snow. The asymmetrically spaced tread blocks are densely packed with thousands of sipes that literally cut into the slippery surface of the ice with their sharp cants, creating grip.

The Rockblade Rock 868S rubber compound is reinforced with a range of elastomers that keep the tyre flexible and therefore grippy over a wide temperature range! The tyre's contact patch with the road is kept dry by wide drainage grooves which, in tandem with the sipes, shed water and snow.
