Road Performance Equipment
Road Performance' s new rubber compound is designed to provide optimum performance on both wet and dry surfaces. It has also succeeded in reducing rolling resistance, thus reducing fuel consumption. These improvements, combined with the new tread pattern, result in a high-performance mid-range summer tyre at a budget price.
Michelin engineers have worked meticulously to create the new tread pattern. The tread has been made deeper, extending the life of the tyre. A new silicon compound has been used for the rubber. The overall construction of the tread blocks in the asymmetric pattern and the ribs in the casing structure have remained stiffer. Consequently, handling is made very easy, even at the highest speeds. The longitudinal and transversally positioned grooves are responsible for the agility on wet surfaces. The new silicon compound and rigid side blocks ensure grip and handling on dry surfaces.
