MR-W600 main features

MR-W600 tread design

The design of the tread pattern is largely due to the fact that the tyres are designed for commercial use. The requirements for handling are also the reason why the engineers opted for a non-directional symmetrical tread pattern. The tread blocks have an increased size and are arranged in a pattern made up of four massive ribs. This solution increases the area in contact with the road surface. This ensures high grip stability and reduces tread aggressiveness.

This design allows a clear demonstration of fuel economy characteristics, improved directional stability and a pleasant comfortable ride. Thanks to the speed and precision with which the tyre reacts to the driver's actions, long journeys will be a pleasure. The tread pattern has a large number of sipes. The straight sipes are arranged transversely, at a slight angle to the direction of travel. This not only improves longitudinal grip on slippery, wet or icy surfaces, but also gives it a high degree of stability.
