Toyo NanoEnergy 3 summer tyres are one of the latest developments in the Japanese tyre industry. This model is characterised by very low fuel consumption as well as a very long service life. Available from R13 to R15, we can confidently say that owners of small compact cars are the main target audience for this model.

NanoEnergy 3 tread characteristics:

• Tread characteristics. This tyre is characterised by a reduced number of tread elements. This is due to the priority given to reducing rolling resistance during tread design. Therefore, the tread pattern of this model has only 2 longitudinal ribs.
• Excellent for preventing aquaplaning. The water evacuation system is one of the most successful features of this tyre. Its main structural elements are three wide channels interconnected by a series of smaller transverse channels. The main channels are relatively large in size, allowing them to take up an impressive amount of water and immediately drain it out of the contact area. This system eliminates the risk of aquaplaning even at high speeds.
• Reduced noise. When developing the Toyo NanoEnergy 3 tyres, Japanese experts paid close attention to ride comfort, especially acoustic comfort. This was achieved thanks to the precisely calculated positioning of the tread elements, as well as the incorporation of special recesses in the sidewalls of the main channels. These significantly reduce the noise level generated by the air flow moving through the drainage grooves. These tread elements are most effective above 100 km/h.
• Improved rubber compound. One of the improvements made to the NanoEnergy 3 is the rubber compound, which has undergone a significant change compared to its predecessors. First of all, it is worth noting the advent of a new generation of super-active polymer compound. This has made it possible to significantly increase the resistance of the tread pattern to abrasive impacts and to reduce rolling resistance. The presence of silicon-containing components in the rubber, known to most car owners as silica, is also noteworthy. This substance provides extra grip on wet surfaces as well as resistance to abrasion.
