Goodyear UltraGrip Performance 3 all-season tyre model features an improved directional tread pattern. Based on Snow Protect technology, the number of tread blocks has been increased, while the number of drainage channels has also been increased. This solution both reduces the risk of aquaplaning and makes it easier to start driving, even in deep snow.
To improve comfort and safety, GoodYear has equipped the tyre with more of the tyre giant's leading technology solutions. SoundComfort technology provides improved acoustic comfort or reduced noise levels even at high driving speeds. Wet Braking+ technology, as its name suggests, improves the tyre's grip on wet asphalt and shortens braking distances.
The directional tread design is made from an elastomer-rich, abrasion-resistant rubber alloy. The chemical elements added to it allow the tyre to remain flexible at low temperatures. As you know, a flexible tyre grips the road much better and also wears more evenly.
