The tread has shallow cuts in the middle for convincing traction and braking performance. Deep channels and small grooves in the shoulder areas allow moisture to be quickly and efficiently wicked away from the contact patch. Therefore, grip remains excellent even in heavy rain. The tread section is very firm, so the car stays firmly on the road at high speeds in straight-ahead traffic or when cornering.
