Primacy 4+ features
Michelin Primacy 4+ summer tyres feature a classic asymmetric tread pattern. Like its predecessor, the Michelin Primacy 3, it incorporates an increased number of tread blocks. This design significantly improves grip on both dry and wet asphalt.
The rectangular shape of the tread surface allows the tyre to increase the contact area with the road. In other words, the greater the contact area with the road, the better the grip. In addition, the large number of tread blocks allows the tyre to maintain an increased grip area even on rough road surfaces.
The main difference between the 4+ index and conventional models is the rubber compound. This has been enhanced with the latest Michelin technologies to improve the tyre's handling characteristics on wet surfaces and extend the tyre's service life.
The tread thickness contains special indicators that allow you to determine quite precisely when it's time to change your tyres. The difference with similar solutions from other brands is that they are located not only in the central part, but also on the sides of the tread.
