Key features of the Ecovision WV-06
- The tread pattern with four wide longitudinal ribs creates a large contact patch with the road, providing high directional stability and excellent steering response ;
- Mixed construction ultra-reinforced carcass for high load capacity with reduced tyre weight;
- The number of traction-forming sipes, which has been significantly increased thanks to the sipes, improves traction and braking performance on icy surfaces.
WV-06 tread design
The design of the tread pattern is largely due to the fact that the tyres are designed for commercial use. The requirements for handling are also the reason why the engineers opted for a non-directional symmetrical tread pattern. The tread blocks have an increased size and are arranged in a pattern made up of four massive ribs. This solution increases the area in contact with the road surface. This ensures high grip stability and reduces tread aggressiveness.
