WinterCraft WS71 features
This off-road tyre model features an asymmetric tread design made from a high-quality, elastomer-rich rubber compound that retains its flexibility even at very low temperatures. This is important because a flexible tyre grips the road much better. The asymmetrically spaced tread blocks incorporate several thousand densely spaced sipes which, by replacing studs, improve grip on ice. The wide drainage grooves, in tandem with the aforementioned sipes, do an excellent job of removing water and snow from the contact surface, drying it out. The carcass is also reinforced, making it more impact resistant and making the tyre last longer.
