Goodyear UltraGrip Ice Arctic winter tyres feature a directional tread pattern. Its massive blocks incorporate several thousand 3D sipes in different shapes. They open up on contact with the road to create extra grip and, in tandem with the studs, shorten stopping distances and improve manoeuvrability on ice. The studs are made using Multicontrol Ice technology. Their direction matches that of the tread, significantly shortening stopping distances and making it easier to start off. The corners are also newly designed to last much longer. The aggressive tread is made from a high-quality composite material that not only retains excellent flexibility at low temperatures, but also dampens sound.
