This winter tyre model features a snow-efficient directional tread design. Several thousand sipes are densely packed into the V-shaped tread blocks, which perform several functions simultaneously. Firstly, the sipes significantly improve grip on ice by cutting into slippery surfaces with sharp edges. Secondly, the blades help the drainage channels to channel water away from the contact surface, drying it out. A dry traction surface means much better road holding.
