Tyre construction

TheWinforce Catchsnow is built with a continuous series of central tread blocks for high speed stability and manoeuvrability. The tread is made from a high quality rubber compound, which allows it to remain flexible over a wide temperature range. A flexible tyre has a much better grip. The tread blocks are densely packed with thousands of sipes which, replacing the studs, cut into the ice with canted edges, forming a grip on the slippery surface.

Shoulder blocks

The tread blocks in the shoulder area of the tyre have a double structure. This allows this model to offer excellent manoeuvrability and grip. Between these tread blocks are wide drainage grooves which, in tandem with the sipes, clean the contact surface of snow and water.
