Tread pattern

The tread pattern of LASSA Snoways ERA is directional and symmetrical to increase snow penetration. Its blocks are densely packed with thousands of sipes whose sharp edges literally cut into the ice, creating grip.

The block groups are arranged in a 'checkerboard' pattern to increase the contact area, spreading the load evenly across it and making the tyre more sustainable.

Drainage grooves between the blocks effectively remove snow and water from the contact patch, keeping it dry. The drier the contact patch, the better the grip.
