The Michelin X-Ice North 4 SUV features a cloud-shaped directional tread pattern incorporating, depending on the size, at least 250 studs per tire. In developing this tire model, Michelin engineers paid close attention to every detail, from the shape and material of the studs to their placement and how they interact with one another.
