What Damage Can Be Repaired?
To assess whether a tyre repair is possible and to determine the most appropriate type of repair, a specialist needs to see the damage. In 90% of cases, tyres can be repaired easily and quickly, but if the damage is significant, it is often more cost-effective to buy new tyres.
Tyre repairs are possible in the following cases:
- Minor punctures (up to 6 mm in diameter) in the tread area;
- Superficial cuts in the tread section;
- Air leaks from the valves;
- Small internal air leaks within the tyre;
- Small air leaks between the tyre and the rim.
What Does Tyre Repair Involve?
1 Evaluation
A thorough inspection of the tyre helps determine how serious the damage is and whether there are hidden defects that could affect the tyre’s internal structure, reduce its performance, and affect its roadworthiness.
2 Preparation
The damaged area is cleaned and slightly widened to ensure the tyre repair materials can fully cover or fill it, providing a long-lasting result.
3 Repair
Depending on the type and location of the damage, the most suitable repair method is chosen. Our service uses high-quality tyre repair materials from the world’s largest manufacturers to repair tyres with high precision.
4 Check
After the tyre has been repaired, we check that it can hold air without leaking. We then balance the tyre if necessary to ensure a safe and comfortable return to the road.

How Are Tyres Stored?
We also provide storage for seasonal tyres with or without rims. Our customers’ tyres are stored in a safe place, under appropriate conditions, to protect them from damage during storage.

Thread Repair as a Temporary Solution
For punctures caused by nails, broken glass, or other small foreign objects located in the tread area, tyre repair threads may be the most suitable solution. The threads are pressed into the damaged area, which is then properly sealed. Tyre repair with thread is a quick solution, though it is less permanent compared to other methods.

Repair With Patch for a Lasting Effect
A specialised repair patch is firmly glued to the inside of the tyre with a vulcanising adhesive. To repair larger damage in the tread area, the tyre must first be removed from the rim and the damaged area thoroughly cleaned and sanded. Although patch repairs take longer, they often provide a long-lasting and reliable result.

Mushroom Repairs for Maximum Durability and Safety
This repair method is suitable for punctures that penetrate all tyre layers. The repair uses a specialised repair patch, whose flat base covers the puncture from inside the tyre, while the stem part fills the puncture itself. When these repairs are carried out, vulcanisation is the final stage, ensuring long-lasting durability.
Why Is Quality Repair Important?
Quality tyre repairs not only mean longer tyre life but also safer driving. An unsuitable repair method, poor-quality tyre repair materials, or insufficient servicing can fail to provide a lasting tyre seal, leading to:
- Air leaks;
- A tyre suddenly bursting while driving;
- Uneven tyre wear;
- Increased fuel consumption.
- Rim damage. ( Other damage related to displacement with insufficient tyre pressure)
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Is it safe to drive with a repaired tyre?
Yes, if high-quality tyre repair materials and the most appropriate methods for rectifying the damage are used, the tyre can provide a long-lasting and safe performance.
-
How can I make sure my tyre can be repaired?
To find out if a tyre is repairable, it is best to take it to a repairer who will assess the severity of the damage. Structurally damaged tyres, multiple punctures, or damage to the sidewall are often irreparable as they significantly reduce the tyre’s strength and ability to withstand the load.
-
Does tyre repair affect the handling of the car?
No, if a tyre has been professionally repaired, it retains its characteristics and does not affect handling or driving comfort.
